How This Site Works

Welcome to Those Who Fought. Here we honor those who fought and in some cases died for their country. The following will explain exactly how this site works.

Organization:

• This site is organized alphabetical by last name, and if two last names are the same, first name.
• The rank is shown in the beginning of each name (If the rank is known.)
• If the member belonged to a special division in that branch of the military, that is shown in parenthesis after the name.
• If the person is deceased, it will show the date that they died. (If the date is unknown it will say unknown in parenthesis, or if the person is Missing in Action it will have MIA after the name)

Adding to the List:

If you have anyone you would like to add to the list please do the following.

1.Tell me who the person is that you would like to add.

2.Tell me what war they were in. (If they were in the coast guard, this does not apply, you can tell me that in the next steps or if they were in the military during a peace time, do the same and tell what year they served.)

3. What branch of the military they are/were from.

4.Tell me what their rank is/was.

5.If they died tell me what the date was.
